John Drewal. A 20-minute film
documenting the history of
patchwork quilts known as kawandi and
introductions of quilters of African descent living in India.
The mission of the SQC is to bring awareness of the historical value of
African-American quilts, as well as to celebrate and continue the tradition of
quilting
